Great Interactive Game for the Whole Family Jan 12, 2008
By B. Albrecht We've enjoyed the original Apples to Apples, and was delighted to see a new Bible version. Played it during game nite on New Year's Eve, where 3 game tables were set up and games galore to chose from. Our table played the Bible version Apples to Apples the entire night, and we kept having people want to join it or play it after. I bought 5 games as Christmas gifts, and it was well-received, with comments like - it is educational, fun, could play it at the church social, also great for our church kids group. Great product! Great gift idea! Everyone will want to play! Now I need to order one for me to keep!

By William G. Mavity This was a great game and my 11th and 12th grade bible study group really enjoyed playing the game. I would recommend it highly.

Fun Game Apr 06, 2008
By Ash I have several Christian clubs at the college and this was the first game I bought for them. I noticed they were all work and no play, unlike the other college clubs, so this game gives us a break and brings us together with a focus still on Christ. The other clubs were amazed to see the Christian clubs actually had a Bible version of "Apples to Apples." They come over to see what the difference in the cards are - and join right in with us. I also bought it as a witnessing tool seeing that we meet right in the middle of the campus. Everyone likes playing Apples to Apples, the other clubs play the other versions all the time. I am glad they made a Bible version! So cool. We will probably get the Jewish version next to mix it up a little. :0)

FUN!!! Jan 16, 2010

We found this to be as fun, and even funnier than the original. We have both versions now and play both fairly equally. You really need to have a sense of humour to play this Christian version. If you don't, you may be offended. If you're easily offended don't buy this. For the rest of us who know how to laugh, this is a great, rated G, family game. I only have to disagree with the ages. I believe the box says 10 and up. My 7 year old can play both versions and loves these games. Although it's for 4 players and up, we sometimes add a 'dummy' hand when it's just the 3 of us. This helps keep the balance so my son doesn't pick based on who played a card- Mom or Dad HA HA! just good clean fun. Either version, or both, you can't go wrong.

Slightly blasphemous fun... Jul 20, 2010
By Julie Glavic Just as in regular Apples to Apples, it seems like the best (funniest) card pairings are always a little on the scandalous, outrageous, or ridiculous side. So here - except that "maybe a little blasphemous" is added to the mix. So - just keep that in mind.
And sometimes the winning card isn't really blasphemous, but perhaps not what you were expecting from "Bible Apples to Apples". Example: The winning card for the adjective "large" was "The Ten Virgins".
