Great for little ones Jun 05, 2010

I bought this for our library story time, since my son had broken one of theirs while we were there. The librarian loved that they were all plastic, and durable. The kids, after we put them in the instrument box, fought over them because they made a great sound.

Purchased these maracas for a 10-month-old who had enjoyed a similar product in a play group. He loves them! They are of extremely good quality. The heads are large enough that they cannot be put entirely into the mouth. I believe these will be popular for a long time, as they do not look like "baby toys".

These maracas are very cute. They are a bit big, the ball part is about the size of a plum but our 16 month old has enjoyed them since she got them at 12 months. They easily shake and make a great sound that babies can react to since it gives them an instant reaction to their shaking action. We got the green ones and I love their bright lime color.
