This was purchased for a Christmas present for my 8 year old grandson. He has had a wonderful time making all sorts of rides from cars to helicoptors. If you have the regular legos this is a must to go with it if your child loves moving vehicles. My 30 year old son was right in the thick of things playing and making along with his son. Great toy for the family.

I bought this for my 9 year old. He is very creative and loves to built. As it is difficult to get "challenging" parts from lego, we are constantly looking for new sets that include unusual parts, you don't get anywhere else. I was so excited when I saw the originally posted pics... which have since changed.... to what they really are.... I think this toy is totally overpriced, only kept it, because I had it sitting on my son's birthday table.... If you want to get your money's worth and a really great toy along the same lines but with a lot more ideas on building unusual structures.... buy Lego Crazy Action Contraptions. It is half the price, has a lot more parts and lots of different start up ideas to built. I wish I had gotten a second one of the latter instead of wasting $29.

This set has neat and useful stuff in it, but I did not find it to be a very good value. For the current list price of $24.95 I would have expected more pieces.

Our 7 yr old son loves these & while I found them pricey for what is included, for us, it is worth it!
