Didj game geared to girls Jan 18, 2009
By M. James We got this game for my 1st grader. She isn't a big gammer and academically is behind. I love the fact that the game is geared towards girls, my daughter is a girl who appreciates this. However, this game frustrates her. I am not sure if she just doesn't want to answer the math problems or if the game play is still confusing her. I think this has more to do with my daughter than the game itself. From the litte I have played the game I think that she will like it once she gets used to it. The game has a Sims feel to it. You walk around town and enter buildings. In order to enter or exit a building you have to answer math problems.

Not that much fun Jan 03, 2009
By smart shopper My 7 year old got this game for her Didg for Christmas. This was her first game to get and it was very disapointing. She said it's a rather boring game and not much to do with it. She preferred the Jet Pack game that came with it over this one. Her little sister got the Leapster L Max and Pet pals for Christmas and they both love that game, almost wishing we would have gone that route instead. We will try another game though.

Super chicks Feb 02, 2009
By Andrea Osborne
"just us"
Our 6 year old daughter has tried to play this game. It's so boring that I can't stand to help her with it. The players do nothing, just walk around. Even after going online and "buying" things to go with the game it still scores a zero in our house.

A six year old's review Aug 13, 2009
By mommy2one my daughter wanted to write this herself, but it came out as rambling. *laugh* so, here is the jist. she loves the name, it is more girley than jet pack heroes, and she was a little nerve wrecked over the monsters in jet pack heroes. this game is all about shopping, making "friends"(other characters), and solving math problems. she loves it. she has a love for school, so it was a good fit like most leap frog products. i think it is a good game too. i did not use this seller though, so my review here is strictly for the product. hope this helps.

Not a Hand held game! It's an educational tool Apr 05, 2010
By Elizabeth Dyar
"Emanon"
I do not believe in hand held games or video games for children. My mother is the one who went against my wishes and purchased this for my daughter Christmas 2008, that's right 2008. Knowing my feeling on this subject my mother came armed with newspaper articles, e-articles, and an educational magazine. Due to my stubbornness it was an entire year before I loaded the software on my computer. With that being said I am glad my mother purchased this for my daughter (age 8) as I never would. Didj is not a hand held game or video game, it is an awesome educational tool. I love it! The Didj includes a feature on its "Leapfrog Connect" in which I can upload her spelling words and choose her math facts and language arts skills by grade and then again by specific skills. In order to continue to the next level she must answer a series of educational questions, this motivates her because she earns micromods. Micromods are equivalent to money/tokens in which she downloads "extras" for each game. For example, she has downloaded a pet for Sonic and a new computer for Nancy Drew and a Karate move for Spongebob. I have purchased another six educational tools; Nancy Drew, Nicktoons, Neopets, Tinkerbell, Super Chicks, High School Musical and a free download from Leapfrog Jet Pack Heroes. I can't seem to say enough about this valuable educational tool. My daughter is studying her math facts and spelling words without me telling her "It's time to study".
