5pixar up leapster game  Jan 16, 2010
By S. Hamelin
My kids loved the movie and they love their leapster games. So, this was an easy choice. My oldest is 6 and number two is 3 and they both have had a lot of fun playing this game. The boys are not always the most gentle with their things, but we've seen no damage in any of their leapster games and we started purchasing them over 2 years ago.

4A litte old for my son  Aug 27, 2010
By Heather Zweiback "devilishtemptress"
I bought this game for my son who just turned 5 and it seemed to be maybe more for 6 and up. He doesn't play it because he says the games are too hard. I think he'll like it in a year or so though.

4I love Leapster!  Jun 01, 2011
By K. Baird
My kids love the Leapster games, but the cartridges are often quite expensive and then often times don't work after prolonged use (most likely because little fingers get all over the prongs). Usually this can be fixed by cleaning them with alcohol. I usually watch Amazon's great prices for lower priced Leapster Games and can usually find them under $15...especially around Christmas time. The Leapster is a great game system for young kids...durable (ours has lasted through 3 children) and fun...and best of all, EDUCATIONAL! Almost every game has something educational...whether it be reading, math or or as simple as learning letters and numbers. If you read the fine print on the cartridges, you will find games that are suitable for the age you are looking for...but my older kids will still play some of their favorite games for youngsters! My older kids love the "UP" cartridge...but my 4 year old says it's too hard for him (although he loves the character).

5Great "toy"  Feb 03, 2012
By Wence
Bought this as a gift for a 3 year old's birthday. He is a very busy little boy as most are at this age. The Leapfrog is his favorite "quiet time" toy. You can see him problem solving and he engages in cause and effect. We also noticed his eye-hand coordination improve. I will be looking for additional software, I am sold on this learning system. The design and graphic presentations are perfect for the young learner.

5This game does not work for the Leapster Explorer  Jan 12, 2012
By Ethan
PLEASE READ: This game does not work for the Leapster Explorer. Even thought the image says works with all Leapster systems, it does not work for the Leapster Explorer.
