I recently bought the counting bears with cups instead of bowls for $4.95 at Walmart in the "educational" supplies section. It is essentially the same thing with the same colors and my son loves it for much less. Really helps with counting skills and you can make up lots of different activities with it.

Who knew a child could find so many ways to play with these little bears. My 2-year-old son has played with nothing else since we got them. He loves to sort them by color and he's starting to understand patterns. He also likes to put them in his cars and drive them around and have pretend conversations between them! I know there's lots more to do with them in terms of math and counting, so I think they will be fun and educational for years to come. My only negative comment is that they are quite small, and the dog seems to like them, so we take lots of head counts throughout the day to make sure none have gone missing! Could be a choking hazard for younger children.

I am a 4th grade teacher. My son is two and we have these for home. It has created hours of fun!!! We sort, practice colors, counting, and more. He loves to play witht he bears for fun, too.

This is a very basic and simple toy, yet very entertaining and educational for my two year old. There are so many learning opportunities with this product. My son is working on colors, counting and sorting. My older son is able to work on patterns. They also loving filling the bowls and dumping them out. Great product overall.

I bought the bears and bowls for my 3 year old and she absolutely loves it! She played with it at a friends house when I noticed how enthusiastic she was about it. I wish I had bought it a year ago. It has increased her ability to count, sort and recognize her colors. I recommend this toy to any child--the younger, the better!
