I remember having a Cartesian diver toy as a child and so I got this for my 7 year old grandson. He has been playing with it for days trying to figure out how it works. He put it in an empty 2 liter plastic bottle full of water and immediately started to giggle when he could make it go up and down by squeezing the bottle. His only complaint is that it won't go up and down in the bathtub. I highly recommend it.
