New and improved! May 01, 2012
By Anthony G. Nguyen I bought this from Amazon when it was only $300! I guess I was lucky to catch it at the right time for that price. This newly updated Classroom Jeopardy set is amazing! All the features of the original set are included with video, audio, and images now being supported. New and improved... the values can now be any value. It doesn't have to be in 100 increments like the older generation. It also has built-in speaker, so you don't have to plug it into a speaker when using it with a projector. The response also show up in the host remote for each clue, so you don't have to print out your original quiz.
The remotes have a light that lights up the same color as the scoreboard when in use. All the remotes of the same team also light up when one team member buzzes in. This is really helpful as it helps the teacher (host) as well as students (contestants) know whose remote work and whose remote stopped working.
The ONLY feature missing, which I took off a star for, is it doesn't support Unicode. Whenever I want to use Vietnamese on it, I would have to go into PowerPoint and type out the words and save them as images. I then have to import the images into the game, which took longer than if I could just type it into the game.
Now... If you are like me who have parents who care about their students' education, you may be able to get this for FREE! Here's how: Get parents to DONATE!
I used it one day to review a Science chapter to get students ready for a test. It was the same day we were going to have our parent/teacher conference. Students loved it so much they went home and told their parents all about it. That same day, I had 2 parents made donations towards the set to "reimburse" me for my investment. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting anything but gratefully accepted their donation.

Classroom Jeopardy Apr 24, 2012
By Chalk Talk I used the Jeopardy game with a first teacher and her class. This is what she had to say about the game. My kids loved the Jeopardy Game. It was extremely easy to set up - plugs straight into the video component of the Promethean. Using the Clue Studio software, I created two games. One was to review math and science concepts from the last few weeks (plant parts, living/non-living, addition/subtraction word problems, and fact families.) The other one was a math review game for the 3rd nine weeks. It included categories for addition word problems, subtraction word problems, fact families, ordering events and objects, and two place value categories. I had all the students sit in rows with their class and they each had a dry erase board to work out the problems, if needed. I like the way the Jeopardy game is set up because after you show the question, there is time, if needed to give the students a chance to solve the problem. Overall, the kids seemed to love it and I found it very easy to use.

So much fun! Apr 23, 2012
By Amy S. Opheim Classroom Jeopardy is unbelievable. You can make your OWN games - with questions about your family, friends, life, etc - and include images, videos, funny sound clips, whatever! Then it plays just like on TV - even with Johnny Gilbert and Alex Trebeck's voices. Perfect for family reunions, baby shower games, etc. So great.
