Yay! Fun with Magnets! Oct 06, 2010
By H. Devaney
"Sidney and Ben's Mommy"
I bought this kit for my son's "homeschool" preschool. So much fun! I was a little apprehehensive at first, I wanted "real" magnets, not plastic coated magnets. This kit is perfect for preschoolers! It came with a little booklet with information about magnets and a few activities. My son LOVES this kit, and pulls the box off the shelf to ask to play with it EVERY DAY! That's another plus- this kit came in a storage box! THANK YOU! =) I would definitely reccommend this product! One thing to be aware of if you're thinking of purchasing this for smaller ones, the magnetic balls that it comes with look just like colorful gumballs! BE CAREFUL!

Missing pieces Feb 03, 2011
By hawaiitexan This product is great in all aspects. The only reason why i rated it with a 3 is because it didnt come with the 100 paper clips as advertised. I personally do not really care about the paper clips because i can easily find some around the house or buy a cheap pack at walmart. But i wanted to catch peoples attention so that they know they are not getting everything as advertised or shown in the picture. Jus in case having those 100 paper clips are important to some people. It is not a 224 piece set like described, more like a 124 piece set. It also advertises that it can be a set for 25 students...i do not think that is the case. In my opinion, I do not think this will accomodate 25 students, you would probably need to buy three sets of this kit for that many students to have a good time and learning experience.

Fun Science Sep 01, 2008
By Victoria Lee These magnets are a lot of fun for my children and the children in my preschool class. They are played with a lot and have stood up well to the frequent use. The kit comes with a booklet of educational experiments to try. The children in my class are to young for some of them, but they enjoy sorting the chips and paperclips by type and by color and using the magnet wands to clean them all up afterward.

A Great Value For Classroom Of Home Apr 23, 2012
By ktdid I am currently teaching 7th and 8th grate science, and needed a good lesson involving magnets. Most classroom sets of magnets are very expensive, and only come with simple bar magnets. This kit gives you a wide variety of options, and also several ideas for experiments. Some of the magnets are a little weaker then I though they would be (the small bar magnets, and the one large horseshoe magnets) but the the several magnet wands are great!
Overall, i am very happy, and would recommend this to anyone looking for some fun with magnets!
