Honestly, I prefer the crayons.... Feb 28, 2010
By Melinda Ups: -They write on any kind of glass -Easy to clean off of glass - see downs - if you get streaks - use a clean paper towel and clean windex or water (which ever you prefer to clean with) and wash again - my mom and I are both using these for our kids and neither of us have ever had to clean the surface more than twice to be streak free -8 colors vs the crayons only having 5 (and the markers give you colors the crayons don't)
Downs: -DON'T get these on any other surfaces than glass - they'll wash off hands but I'm seeing the horror stories of carpet and wood and I've personally only had a tiny taste of issues in a car -these are better used for fine lines rather than large areas i.e. letters and outlines - for large areas of drawing they are streaking and not creating a nice full area like regular markers do on paper, this is tending to leave my and my mom's younger kids disappointed with the results and making them frustrated - the crayons don't have this issue

Horrible cleanup!! Fun for kids, torture for parents! Dec 20, 2009
By J. Salvadore We received these markers as a gift and my kids enthusiastically decorated our glass atrium doors. I don't mind them making a mess, as long as it can be cleaned up. I followed the package directions of water cleanup and then buffing with a dry paper towel but a thick white haze remained on the windows. I then tried windex and a dry towel buff, and still a haze remained. I had to clean them again, but the haze kept returning until I cleaned the windows with rubbing alcohol. Also, my children's hands were stained for days, even with lots of hand washing, soaking in the bathtub. I don't think any amount of fun from these markers outweighs the horrendous cleanup. Perhaps a smaller drawing with less marker use would have made cleanup easier, but my kids make detailed, colorful pictures. These markers have a new home in the garbage.

Great fun, Terrible Cleanup Nov 07, 2011
By R. Mathew I have to disagree with the reviewer that stated ease of cleanup. I have three kids who went to town on our dual sliding glass doors and I'm on the fourth round of clean up and the glass is all foggy still. Wet/ dry erase markers are much easier to. Lean up than this...

Great for gift-giving! May 05, 2009
By Kelly Atkins The Crayola window markers have been a real life-saver for me!! Whenever I have nieces/nephews or friends' children over visiting at my home, I can give them the window markers to draw on my glass door and they think it is an art extravaganza! They are so proud to show you what they have created! The younger and the older children really enjoy drawing and coloring. They are also great to give as gifts- a gift that fits all ages. The only negative is that the colors fade out after a day or two and it is fairly messy to clean up. I still think they are worth the effort, though!

The Worst! Nov 27, 2006
By A. Horn
"neat freak"
These markers are fun to write on the windows and look great, BUT...they are a nightmare to get off! It took a lot of cleaner and paper towels to get all the ink off and it still left a streaky film on the glass. I put up with it though because my four-year old loves them.
