Family Fun!!! Jan 15, 2007

"Nurse/Mom of 5"
My family just played this game, and it was so much fun! My two year old enjoyed holding the timer, while the rest of the family enjoyed recalling biblical facts. It is really a game for the ENTIRE family. I may even purchase one for the Sunday school children that I teach, since it is such a great way to learn. My 9 yr old kept the bible by her so that she could look up answers while she played along. She has already asked to play again tonight.......... My 22 year old wouldn't answer his cell phone while playing. (That's how much fun this game is!) I would highly recommend it. My teens anxiously and willingly played along with big smiles! This is a great gift for birthdays, housewarmings, etc.... Hope this review helped you make a decision to purchase this wonderful gift for a friend or loved one. Every home should have one.
God bless!

Great game Dec 04, 2006
By Magdalene I played this game for hours the first night I got it. It's fun even with just two people. The questions range from very difficult to fairly easy(thats my own observation). It's fun for everyone but may be difficult for younger players.

Outburst has long been a favorite of mine. So when I saw Bible Outburst I knew I had to try it. It was not a disappointment. It is a great game for the whole family. The players are divided into two teams. A card is drawn and the category is read. For example, on one of the cards the category is "Names in the Bible beginning with 'P'". When the timer is turned over, everyone on the team shouts out as many answers as possible before time runs out. The names may be obvious such as Peter & Paul or not so obvious such as Peninnah & Phoebe. There may be more than 10 appropriate answers for a topic. You may think of one that is not on the list. Tooooo bad. Your goal is to match the 10 target answers that are on the topic card. This is a fun-filled game; I recommend it.

Bible Outburst, lots of fun! Apr 24, 2011
By L. Coomes We really love this game and play it a lot. Even when you play it many times you don't usually recall the answers since there are ten on each card. The trick is to pass the "events" cards to the other team because they are very difficult cards to get correct. The Bible game we like the most is called Matchless (which is a card game that requires you write your answer down on paper); but Bible Outburst is a very close second. I would also recommend Bible Baffle and Bible Scramble (Not Scrabble - which may be fun, we've never played that game) and requires Bible use). I would NOT recommend Miracles and Pitfalls or Bible Blurt; they are both very simple, just plain boring, and a complete waste of money.

Outburst of FUN! Oct 14, 2010

"Raising Autism Awareness, one child at a time!"
This was great fun for the whole family. Our two year old loves to watch us all jump to answer as many questions as possible. The children love the animal questions (ie.. Wild animals in the Bible, Clean animals in the Bible, Mammals in the Bible .... ) Our children love animals so those questions fire them up! But they have also learned so much more and our family time has been so enriched.
Other questions: People associated with People? Queens in the Bible? What were the ten plagues that fell on Egypt? Things associated with Creation? Events in the life of Noah? Occupations in the New Testament? Events in the book of 2 Kings? People in Exodus? Ten names for Christ? The attributes of God? Things made of Silver? Works of the flesh? Mistakes made of sins committed by old testament Kings? Musical instruments in the Bible?
.... .... so much more!!
Our children hurry to do their chores because they know that we will be playing after evening devotions. I appreciate a "Bible version" because so few games are geared towards the Word of God ... at least compared to secular game.
I recommend this game for family night or even incorporated into family devotions!
