 Cheezy don't last erasers like the good Ole Days. Jul 23, 2010

They are so thin and not sturdy enough to place on a pensil, the top part is fine but the base that goes around pensil is way too thin.. What happened to the good ole days when they lasted longer than the pensils. If you put any slight pressure to erase with these erasers they split and forget about how you try to wind gumbands around it, it falls off and most of time breaks off since they are so thin. I'd rather pay $l.00 for one if it would last. Come on guys show some effort if you are going to make a product make a product you can be proud of.

I just love these little erasers. I write notes all day long and erase all day long. What I love is that they erase clean. My paper is not smudged. Also these erasers are gentle--no worries about tearing your papers. They do, however disappear faster than the erasers of the 60's and 79's. They not only keep your papers clean, they stay relatively clean themselves. From time to time you have to stop and clean them a little bit. They are also colorful. I love colors and will never buy another pink eraser.
UPDATE:
Now that I have used these erasers, I can no longer recommend them. They look exactly like the 'Staples Arrowhead Cap Eraser, Assorted Colors'. They are not the same. They do not fit snugly on #2 pencils, Every one I affixed, has slipped off during use. Unfortunately I did not read the company's name and assumed they were the same erasers I had ordered before. I let myself be suckered in by the colors, and the option to buy a bulk quantity. I am returning this product and will reorder the 'Staples Arrowhead...Colors'.

When I bought these erasers I bought 4 different brands because of bad reviews, then I could pick the brand that works the best. here they are in order.
1-Achieva Eraser Caps, Pink, 144 per Box (30237)
2-Paper Mate Arrowhead Pink Cap Erasers (73015)
3-Charles Leonard Inc., Eraser, Caps, Assorted Colors,
4-Integra Pencil Cap Eraser
if i ever need more erasers i will buy the Achieva Eraser Caps i think they were the best, they seemed to clean the paper the best and stay the cleanest by wearing away on there own and they were $4.81 for 144 half the price of Paper Mate Arrowhead witch i rated 2nd best. if i had nothing to compare each one to i would of been happy with any one of these brands. all of them do a descent job.

I previously read the negative reviews after placing my order. I became worried that the quality of the product I was going to receive would be poor. However, when I received the erasers, they were exactly what I expected. I think the quality is great. In the negative reviews, some customers complained about the cylinder part of the eraser being too thin. I cannot say that I agree. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Put's a stop to "Can I borrow your eraser?" They are cheap and you get tons of them. Wish I would have ordered some earlier in the year
