It makes clean up so smooth and quick. The eraser has a wide bottom that it removes a lot of marks quickly. A great feature is that it is magnatized so it stays on the board when not in use. I would buy again, if I ever lost this one.

Good Eraser but not Perfect Oct 02, 2010

I really like this eraser. It's nice to just pull off the strip when it gets really dirty. However, it does NOT get my board as clean as a cotton cloth does. As a math teacher, I erase my whiteboard at least 5 times a day. And after a couple of days of using this eraser, my boards are quite gray and dingy. Cleaning them with the EXPO spray and a cloth cleans them right up again, though.
The best part of this eraser is the little pointy tip. It gets into nooks and crannies with precision, so I can erase around problems and work, and leave things up for other classes if I want to. It's also great that your hands don't get dirty while erasing. When I used the cloth, my hands looked like I'd finger painted by the end of the day, but with this eraser, they are (almost) clean enough to eat with.
I really like this eraser, and I will probably continue to use these in future years.

I bought this so I could erase small bits of equations on my dry-erase board (physicist), but found when I received it that it was much larger than I anticipated, thus rendering it useless as I have to write many of my formulas rather small. I love the caddy and the magnetic attachment option, but was disappointed by the angled tip, which is actually less accurate than using the corner of a typical eraser. Currently, I find the best solution is still the markers with built in erasers on the rear. They may become useless once the ink is gone, but it's a price I'm willing to pay when unlocking the secrets of the universe.

New product, I saw it for the first time yesterday. At first glance, I thought it was a stapler. Replaceable pads are an improvement over the styrofoam block erasers that become cruddy and useless in a few weeks. Unfortunately, I can't find it on Amazon without a shipping charge, about equal to the price. I will visit a physical store this weekend looking for it.

It is easy to use easy to raise and easy to peel off the replaceable pad. The only issue is the size. It's too big for an eraser and takes too much space.
