A Great Idea! Dec 19, 2009
By Carol Lugg Our son uses a large melamine board to work out his Algebra problems. When I saw the eraser that this fits, I was really impressed, and bought one. Then I saw they have the refill as well. What a great idea! And you peel it back, one layer at a time, so it lasts longer. Imagine that! The shape is great for erasing a larger melamine board too.
My reason for a 4 star rating, is because it costs nearly as much as just replacing the entire eraser itself, so it doesn't make it less expensive to really purchase this, over just replacing the whole eraser itself. Another reason for giving it 4 stars, is because we found that it can be tricky to pull off just the one layer. You have to get a hold of it just right, or you get more than one layer, or you get the one layer, and fray the end of the rest of the eraser. I am not sure how to correct this problem, but I feel confident those that make these would be able to come up with a fix for the problem.

It's one pack of 8 layers Apr 11, 2011
By L. L. Kitto First, I ordered the Precision Point Whiteboard eraser, then added the refill to my order. I could not tell by the picture the how many pads there are. I was really relieved to find that the refill is identical to the original product. One replacement pad has 8 layers of pads that are peeled off as needed. It's a great idea. The original is great, too. I appreciate that the holder is magnetized and stays handy, right on my whiteboard. I expect it will take quite a while to go through all the eraser pads.
The Teacher loved it! Sep 20, 2011
By T. Yarborough The teacher loved it for her kindergarten class! It really helps with erasing detail. it also can go on the board with its magnet holder.
Great Eraser Sep 07, 2011
By Eric Johnson I really like that the eraser had pad layers so as they get all nasty you can tear one off and have a new eraser without having to go buy one right away. This allows the user to have more of a heads up.
