I remembered these sets being used when I was child at Sunday School and they are still the same. My granddaughter loves to tell story with characters. Goldilocks and The Three Bears was my first purchase from Kaplan,but I plan on buying more stories. My granddaughter is planning on taking her set to school for show and tell. I am going to have to check and see if there is easel or some type of story board so the set may be laid out on a firm surface.

My kids can have fun with just about any toy. They have lots of felt sets and magnet sets that they play with but this one was just boring. The bears and Goldilocks are too big for the size of the house. My kids got it for Easter, looked at it, and had no idea how to begin playing with it. I am also a preschool teacher and my preschoolers didn't enjoy it either. Very disappointed :(

The Goldilocks flannel board set arrived promptly and appears durable. My 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed retelling the story as she placed the figures on the board...definitely good practice in sequencing and loads of fun. With the background included, you wouldn't really even need a flannel board. You could just pin up the background or lay it flat on the floor.

This is a very nice set for a good price. I will use it for my preschool story time but I brought it home to test out on my own 3 year old twins and they played with it for an hour!
