I got this for a first grade classroom. I keep this outside most of the year, only bringing it in when we do our daily weather. It is wood so it does warp... apparently. It is really big and pretty heavy but is is nice because the kids can see the temp outside from across the classroom. Hopefully the weather doesn't hurt it too much but after 4 months, i see it already taking it's toll. The description doesn't say it is an indoor thermometer, maybe it should.
