FYI: the pieces are foam. Making them very light. They do not stay on the patterns as easily as the wooden ones.

I bought these for my two little boys. When I was little I loved using these blocks, but I was worried since my boys are two it be too much for them, but the fact they are a hard foam makes them safe for them to play with. They love doing puzzles and crafts and blocks so these are great for. They can use their imagination to create what ever it is their heart desires.
