wonderful for fine motor skills and color word recognition Mar 16, 2009

My 4 1/2 year old daughter enjoyed doing a color by number/hidden picture that was on a resteraunt placemat so much that I searched until I found this book that was the closest I could find! I wish there were more like it for various abilities because she loves it so much.
As a teacher, I can honestly say that it is great for her fine motor skills as the pictures are progressively more complex with smaller and smaller spaces to fill in. She was also able to match the color words on the page to the ones on her crayons which is helping her to learn to recognize/read those words! This is a wonderful puchase.
