Good way to practice multiplication. Nov 16, 2008

This is a good product, just make sure you get the pen -- got cards assuming pen came with, but it is sold separately. It's not as fun as a game, but it is effective. It's a good way to practice multiplication, but it doesn't keep my 7 year old entertained. I basically have to have him do it for a while and reward him, or create goals for him. It's not like some games that they will play on their own because they are entertained.

"Christ Minded"
This product has been a hit in my classroom. The students that are early finishers in math are allowed to get the Hot Dots Pen and one of the Math Hot Dots sets to use. They love to hear the "You Did It" comments from the talking hot dots pen. It promotes learning and provides self-motivation. What more can you ask for in the classroom?

By Margaret O'Brien I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter who couldn't seem to memorize the times tables. Since this is more like a game, she brings them in the car & spends 15 mins a day learning what she needs for math.
hot dots multiplication flash cards Jan 20, 2010
By longtime amazonian These are fine flash cards and come in a box, but when i bought them i thought for the price and since it is pictured on the box, that the pen came with it. I probably wouldn't have gotten these if i knew the pen doesn't come with it because with the pen you are spending about twenty dollars and without the pen they are regular flash cards available at my local store for [...]. So now that i did get these i am forced to buy the pen and spend the twenty.
