Giant Inflatable Bugs Sep 23, 2007
By Andrea MacDonald As a Master Gardener and an elementary school teacher, I conduct seminars on various garden-related topics. I find that the collection of giant inflatable bugs useful in lectures as an initial attention getter for both children and adults. I don't actually "play" with them, so I can't vouch for their durability. However, I have displayed them on tables, hung them on umbrellas, walls, fences, and trees, and I still have them all, with no patches or leaks. They are colorful, and and easy to inflate. I think they're great!

Great for classroom Feb 28, 2010

I got these to hang from the ceiling in my science classroom. They were a big hit with my 6th & 7th graders. There's no excuse to not have a fun classroom!
Great set Dec 06, 2011

Great set of inflatable bugs, a 4 year old kid liked them. One minor gripe though, or rather an FYI for potential buyers - the wings of the bee and grasshopper are just flaps of plastic material, they do not inflate and just drape around, they are not rigid like they look in the pictures here. Dragonfly's wings are inflatable, but one of its legs failed to inflate, I believe the "hole" inside of the body that leads to the leg was not cut at the factory, so the air is not passing into the leg. I may attempt to puncture that spot with a long needle threaded through the nipple, but not sure if that will work. Otherwise, a good set.
