The Best Toy Animals Around Aug 23, 2007
By Vicki Lamendola
"sept201969"
When my daughter redecorated my three-year-old grandson's room, she decided on jungle animals. I found these and added them to his birthday gifts. When he opened the box, he forgot about the other gifts. They have become his (and his 2-year-old sister's) favorite toys. They are HUGE - about 8" - 12" each, and easy for little hands to hold. They are also actual depictions of the animals they represent. They are study and well-made, too. And when the kids are not playing with them, they look great on the top of the bookshelf. Even though they cost a bit more than most plastic animals you find in stores, their quality - and size - make them worth it.

A great toy for animal-loving tots Mar 21, 2007
By Grandma Sandy My 4-years old grandson loves wild animals, and his favorite is the giraffe. When I saw that the giraffe in this set is 13 inches tall, I knew that I had to buy it for him. The animals are made of high-quality plastic, the faces are quite realistic, and the jumbo size makes them a lot more fun to play with. My grandson loves them.

My son LOVES these! Feb 03, 2008
By Boston Tiger Dad For some time, my son has been fascinated with the animals he sees at zoos and on television. I was going through some ideas for Christmas presents and came across this set. Though the elephant and giraffe are his particular favorites, all of them receive much loving use. Their entertainment and educational value has been as great as their durability, as they have survived numerous car trips and gleeful tossings around the rooms of our home. If your child is at all interested in animals, especially zoo animals, I could not recommend this set more highly.

Not as nice as I was hoping. Sep 26, 2010
By Kara Forristall First thing I noticed when I opened the bag, the sizes of the animals are odd, they don't go "together" i.e. the elephant is off scale in comparison to the giraffe. Also, they are not made very well. the places where the plastic pieces were joined is very rough and noticeable and the paint job on a few of them looks as if it was done by a young child... I hope it wasn't. I'm unhappy with the giraffe the most, his feet don't sit evenly on the floor, so he tips over easily. I just got a German made animal by Schleich and there is just no comparison. The Schleich animals are far superior in every way, especially with how real they look. These are hollow and very poorly made. The only thing I like is how big they are, my son loves these giant jungle animals, esp the gorilla, I only wish they were of better quality. I'm glad I got them on sale because they are not worth the full price. I will not be buying any other sets, but I'll keep these around until he's finished with them, then they they'll be donated.

Lots of Fun! Jan 07, 2008
By T. Elstran We got my 2 year old son a set of these for Christmas because he has been very interested in animals. I love the fact that these are so kid friendly, large enough to not pose a choking hazard and they seem to be very durable which is always a plus with boys!
