Legos fight fires Feb 03, 2012

"Bubbie near and far"
Really nice Duplo Lego set consisting of a fire station, a fire engine with a ladder, a fire truck, a fire helicopter, several fire fighter figures, assorted small pieces (stop sign, hatchets)and a tree. My almost 2-year-old grandson is enjoying this very much and I imagine will enjoy it for quite a while, because he's just starting to learn how to assemble Lego sets and just starting to get into imaginative play. The tree doesn't stand up well on carpeting and the pretend fire and pretend water don't quite cut it, but otherwise the pieces are sturdy and delightful.
Fire Station May 12, 2012
By Anne Heffernan My son loves Fire men and lego so this seemed like the perfect gift. He has played with it a lot {unlike the Lego hospital not sure why}. A few things that I think would make it even more fun to play with; a tree that doesn't topple over no matter how many different ways we build it that seems to happen when we add the cat. Also a little attachment on the cat would make it handy for rescuing. It is an expensive set so some beds {similar to the hospital set} would be a nice touch. A big plus is that it comes in it's own storage container.
Duplo fire station was a hit Jan 16, 2012
By P. A. Schwartz My grandson who is almost 4 loved his Lego duplo fire station and had a lot of fun helping his Mom put it together. He even cleaned the floor up so they could start building it. He has played with it since it was finished a few weeks ago. It will come apart if he plays rough with it and than could have pieces lost so hard to rebuild so so far he has been careful with it. His Mom said there were not good instructions on how to put it together so that was a problem. It is quite pricey so I would think that should be included. My grandson has a birthday coming up and has asked for the Duplo police station. It is quite similar but being a grandma Im sure he will get his wish. The toys are very overpriced though.
Love it and so do my boys! May 04, 2011
By Tags934 I got this for the boys (ages 4.5 and 3.5) for Christmas and it was a huge hit! I love that it comes in a storage container that is easy for them to open. They love all the million pieces and different options. The helicopter is often fought over and there are endless combinations to build different buildings and such. The tree with the cat is pretty neat too! Overall a good purchase and well used toy! I thought my older son would find it too basic and prefer the smaller legos but he likes this one better!

Son loves it Jul 05, 2011

My 3 year old loves lego and they are better than action figures for coordination and creativity. Wish they were less costly though. This is all petrolium byproduct and not some reare earth mineral so why 70 dollars for what probably costs under 10 with advertizment and packaging. These and all Lego should cost about half. Thank heavens for Ebay - I will sell this once my boy is done with it and hope to get about half.
