This set comes with everything a kid needs to build a town, and lots of other imaginary fun things. Great Duplo quality we all grew up with as kids and absolutely worth the money.
The only "con" was packaging. When the box arrived it had 17 small see through bags - each bag contained a few Duplo pieces in it. Additionally, there were several pieces which didn't even have a bag (the pieces were just floating around in the box). So, if this is a gift, you'll need to come up with your own fun packaging because it is not presentable as it is. Also, the box is labeled with "Lego" and "Duplo" on the outside, so when it arrives older kids will know what it is if they open the door.

Kids loved the Duplo Town Set (actually our second). Only complaint, you really need two sets to have enough blocks and things to build actual stuff the kids want to build. Otherwise, excellent product.

Lego products have been a staple of the children in my family for three generations. Every time we give legos or duplos, the response is always the excitement we expect.

Bought this for our 4 kids (7,5,3,3). We've had them over a year. The kids still love playing with them. Wish they stuck together a little tighter but they are definitely better than the mega blocks we had originally. Recommend them to anyone.

i knew this set came with a lot of pieces. i just didn't know how much until it arrived. it's a huge set! i can't wait for my son to open this on christmas day. the only downfall, as another reviewer mentioned, is the box it comes in. it's the shipping box! it has lego and a sticker on the side to let you know what's in it. which could be bad if your child sees it before being wrapped. my box arrived damaged. i can't wrap it, so i will have to switch boxes. not a big deal but a hassle and not very pretty for a gift. i assume the kids would care less anywhow. it's a great "starter" set to the fun sets like the farm etc. and worth the price!
