Better move quickly, though, each game of 10 questions is timed---the faster you get through the questions, the better your score! Incorrect responses are recycled until they are correctly answered. I bought this game for my 8 year old grandson. He played with it for hours, trying to beat his times. He even challenged others to try to beat his times. The time he spent with the game was reinforcement of learning his addition and subtraction tables. A wonderful tool for learning. Makes Math fun.

I love this for math review! My daughter doesn't realize she's doing schoolwork. Great for car rides but cannot be played with in the dark. Very happy with this!

Our first one didn't work (unreadable screen) but it was quickly replaced. We bought to help our 2nd grader increase her speed on basic math questions, something she has struggled with at school. She has been using it without prompting and seems interested in improving her own time. We hope it will continue to be a fun challenge and increase her confidence in timed tests!

My granddaughter loves it. She played for 3 hours (off & on) She loved timing herself & trying to improve. I notice a big difference in her memorized sums. This is a MUST HAVE

Fun but loud! Jan 13, 2012

We bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas. He played with it for about 10 minutes or so, and a few times since. It is extremely loud. I had hoped to use it for car rides, but there's no way I could listen to that voice at that volume in the car so I had to put duct tape over the speaker. Aside from that, it's a good toy and better than having him playing video games or watching TV all the time.
