a TAPE that sticks Jul 05, 2007
By Jamey Brooks Mavalus tape does stick to all type of surfaces. I have used it in my classroom for posters which all stay in place throughout the year. This is the best tape going for attaching items to the wall. It leaves no mess behind when removed, and it is actually reusable. A little bit of tape goes a long way.

The best temporary adhesive, a classroom essential Aug 19, 2008
By Rebecca Haden Mavalus Tape is truly mavalus. You could even say "marvelous," but it's made in Louisiana, hence the pronunciation. This tape holds your classroom materials up for years, and then comes down without damaging your stuff or your walls.
It's great for calendars, timelines, and other cases when you want to be able to move the items around. If that sentence made no sense to you, then you are probably not a teacher.
You'll still like Mavalus tape. It is unaffected by temperature, so it works well for labeling foods in your freezer, it'll keep your kids' posters up as long as they want them up, and it's perfect for posting notes.

It holds our small posters, but so what? Aug 05, 2010
By Carolyn Reid I purchased this tape in hopes that my large, hard-to-hold posters would FINALLY stay up more than a few days at a time. Rather than staying up just a few days, they stayed up just a few SECONDS. Some fell down immediately.
This tape sticks well to the wall, but if your posters are laminated and large, don't waste your money. I used 3M poster mounting strips and packing tape in the end in hopes of getting a little more longevity.
Truly Mavalus! Oct 05, 2009
By S. DEGONIA Last year, I would enter my classroom after the weekend to find most of my posters on the floor. This year, I have used the Mavalus tape and not even one edge on my posters has come loose. I have taped items in the hallway and they stay like magic. It is so wonderful that I don't have to worry about that any more! What a great creation!
