DOES NOT INCLUDE CD Jun 14, 2007

Buy this book, but not from this vendor.
I teach English and borrowed this book from a colleague and then promptly lost it. Assuming that a student had walked off with it, I ordered her a replacement, getting the more expensive version marked "CD" believing that I was getting the book twice, once in paper and once electronically.
Buy thisMAYAN INCAN & AZTEC CIVILIZATIONS product instead of the one listed here. The "CD" included in the product code refers to publisher Carson Dellosa, not to a compact disc.
I paid twice as much as I needed to assuming that I was getting a CD-Rom with PDFs of the material in this book. That's not the case. The truth is that Unbeatable Sale simply sells the same product as Gile Toys and others for more. Please note that Unbeatable Sale does not claim that there is a CD included - I just assumed - we all know where that leads.
Now, while I'm not satisfied with the price, I am happy with the product and with the company. The book itself is informative and fun for my 7th graders and I learned plenty of things I didn't know about these ancient civilizations. Finally, when I contacted Unbeatable Sale to complain about the absence of the CD I expected, we figured out together what the problem was and they immediately offered me a refund and sent out a return authorization code via email.
From now on, I'll look at product descriptions more carefully, avoided baseless assumptions, and shop for the best price. I won't avoid this third-party seller, and I'll definately buy more of the Carson Dellosa books as I found this one tremendously helpful in my class.
