Wonderful! Mar 10, 2009
By Bebe Tannu My son is 3 1/2 years old and absolutely love this toy. He likes to play with money and I am constantly washing his hands. So I got him this instead which looks like real money. He also has a cash register which he puts the play money in to sell me groceries from his pretend market. It's loads of fun! Enjoy!

fun and educational Mar 03, 2010
By Monica M. Farnum I bought this for my 6 year old who loves to play store. She loves this set and feels so grown up using this money. I really like the fact that she is playing while doing some math at the same time. I will buy something from her store and I pay her with the play money and she gives me change. I also love the fact that it has a jar to store all the money. The only down side is once you take the money out for the first time, you cant put all the money back in. They send it to you perfectly rolled but trust me, you wont be able to do the same (unless you have alot of time on your hands everytime your kid plays with it. Way worth the money though.

Excellent teaching tool Feb 01, 2010
By Melissa Daley This is an excellent teaching tool. I bought this item for my children ages 4 and 6 because they like to play store. The coins are so realistic and we have used them to help our 6 year old learn to count money and do math! They especially like all the "big" paper bills. The paper bills are made from a durable paper and do not rip easily. Great item and would definitely recommend!
perfect set of play money Feb 05, 2012
By R. Sass I did not purchase this product through Amazon, I found it at a local toy store and was so impressed I wanted to spread the word. For christmas my kids recieved a learning resources cash register (also not from Amazon) and a melissa and doug store (from amazon). What this set up was missing was the money, and without it play came to a stall. Our local whole foods sold play money for awhile but was sold out by the time I went to the store. So I got this jar of money and was completly surprized. It offers all denominations (1/2 dollar, dollar coins, nickle, dime, penny, one dollar bill through 100.00 bill) and lots of the money. This has helped me explain some basic math concepts to my kiddos and has also made the cash register alot more fun. The change is true to size & color. The only alternative for this learning rescources set was a set from melissa and doug - and as far as I could tell their product did not have as good a selection of coins.
Money Jar Jan 02, 2012
By Lisa I purchased this for my niece for Christmas and got a squeal of delight when she opened it! She is 4 and play money was on the top of her gift list. The jar itself is smaller than I expected it to be but is perfect for her little hands. You get 3 big rolls of paper money, plus all the coins, including dollar coins. She can't count money yet but this is a great tool for learning! Also much better quality than you would get if you purchased play money from a dollar store.
