Fabulous, Fun Learning... Aug 18, 2010
By Kara Stutzman I bought these bean bags to use with my toddler. She is learning to count and loves games that involve physical activity. We toss the bags and count the numbers. She loves them! As she and her brother grow, I know we'll try some of the other activities detailed in the packaging.
Another highlight... They are machine washable and clean up really well!!

I searched high and low... these are the best bean bags for toddlers! Dec 23, 2011
By sassymom This review is a bit of a saga...
I searched high and low for bean bags to help my toddler learn the difference between items "okay to throw" and items "NOT okay to throw." I was looking for something well-made, safe, and sized for toddler hands so that he could have an outlet for his desire to throw things without damaging the house or hurting others.
These are really the best. Highlights are: 1) Sized for toddlers. This means that they fit perfectly into a young child's hand and weigh enough to give them satisfaction without being too hard to toss. If you are expecting adult-sized, you will be disappointed. 2) Soft and well-made. 3) Includes embroidered bag to hold all the bean bags. 4) Each bean bag has an embroidered number on one side, and the spelled out number on the other. Very educational and smart.
I can't stress this enough-- the bean bags are TODDLER SIZED. Many reviewers found fault with the sizing, but I think they are true to the description and purpose.

Great toy for Toddlers Apr 08, 2011
By S. M. HUNT I love this product for my kids. Both my 1 year old and 3 year old love this toy for different reasons. For my daughter we can use the numbers to learn. And for my son he gets to throw the bean bags around and not get in trouble.
5 star fun for little ones Dec 05, 2011

I bought these for my three year old niece as a stocking stuffer; she might prefer candy canes at her age but this auntie is a former teacher and I hope she'll appreciate these much longer than the candy cane would last. These bean bags are exactly as promised in the description from size to the last detail. Seems they thought of everything with both numerals and written numbers, red and blue stitching to differentiate odds from evens. Very well stitched, nicely embroidered with no loose threads, nice that they are even washable! Lightweight (1.4 oz or 38 grams each) - weighs about as much as a chocolate chip cookie so very unlikely to hurt anyone if *gingerly* tossed.
Very pleased with this purchase and easily recommended.

I have two very active boys who don't really like to sit still, especially when I am trying to work on something with them. I try to make learning fun but they seem to catch on that its educational and they give up.
These Number Bean Bags from Educational Insights are not only fun but educational! They are bean bags about the size of my palm, so perfect for little hands, that have numbers on them. One side is an embroidered number and the other is the word of the number. The bean bags go up to 20 and fit nicely in the included drawstring bag. With these bags the possibilities really are endless. You can play games with them, use them for homework or just practice with them. I like to have my boys put them in order and try to recognize what number it is from the word. I find the bags to be pretty durable and while they do have a little krinkle noise I think it adds to the fun. If you are looking for a fun and different way to teach numbers to your preschooler (or even toddler) these Number Bean Bags are pretty neat!
