Good, but could be better Jun 20, 2009

The pockets on this organizer hold regular sized paper (8.5 x 11) okay. If you want to use folders, you'll have to cut them down quite a bit. The picture shows what appear to be folders in the pockets, so you'd think regular pocket folders would fit, but they don't. The description says the pockets are 9" wide x 8.5" tall. They got the height right, but the width of 9" is including the stitching/seams, so they will not accomodate papers/folders over 8.5" wide. Also, several of the seams on the pockets began to come apart at the top after about a month. This is a useful organizer, but the pockets need to be wider.

Best Biggest Organizer Utiliing the Smallest Space Allowed Nov 12, 2006
By Margaret Piegari This pocket chart is the best organizer for the busy teacher who needs everything at their fingertips. I bought a second pocket chart and have them hanging back-to-back. One side is use as student mailboxes to separate their papers at a glance. Turn the chart stand around (mine is on wheels) and I have their xerox papers, notes, forms, reports and records at a glance. This is also great for any substitute to find any work because the pockets are clearly marked with their subject and work. It only takes a chart stand to hold these charts. Best investment for veteran and novice teachers alike.

great buy!!! Jan 11, 2007
By Rosanne Brooks I bought this at a teacher supply store a week ago and I love it! I keep mine at home and have it hung on the wall in my office. I have 2 daughters who like to read, write and color so I have put their names in the slots and have given each of them a row to place their favorite stuff. It keeps their books and papers up off of my floor and they like having an area of my office to call their own. Even though I am not a teacher yet I am very happy to have found this pocket chart and plan to buy another for my future classroom. This can also come in handy for those classrooms who have limited cubby or file space.

Great for organization Aug 29, 2009
By Katherine White I teach elementary school and use this pocket chart as a visual reminder for makeup work and/or missed tests. I team teach with another teacher, so I actually have two of these - one for my class and one for the other. Each student is assigned his/her own pocket, and when they see papers in their pocket they ask about them. This tool keeps papers off of the black hole that is my desk.
Organize Homework! Sep 16, 2011
By A. Sullivan

As a teacher, keeping things simple is key to efficiently using my valuable time. This is a wonderful tool for managing our homework, morning check in, and does so with a quick visual check. In fact, it's invaluable!
This station arrives with plastic coated, easy to use labels that fit neatly into the clear pouch. Pockets are deep enough for full sheets without being so deep that 1/2 sheets get lost. Five "hangy holes" (yes, it's a technical term) allow for full support which is critical when 27 students are turning in an entire unit of work!
Buy it, use it, and you will be happy. I've added clothes pins to mine. One side is red (hot lunch), the other blue (cold), and in an instant attendance and hot lunch count is done! Now, if only I could purchase an additional column for my class as it GROWS.
