8th grade teacher May 30, 2011
By Lancer One of the greatest challenges of teaching is to get a child that is so consumed with what they believe is cool, that the place their future at jeopardy by pulling the Rebel Without a Clue act. It is tough to get some kids to take the future seriously. No matter how many references to 60 year old pizza delivery men get thrown out, sometimes the best thing to do is let the child read a motivational sign-on their own-then contemplate their life. With that in mind, this is a great one.
It is always a challenge to find the correct poster for a classroom, but this poster seems to fit the order perfectly. I do not have to tell anyone that teaching 13 year olds can be challenging, and what any good teacher desires is to make a difference. Well, this poster's message seems to fill that tall order, as parents refer to it at every parent teach conference I have had. Usually it's referred to by the parents that are trying to motivate an apathetic child.

Favorite Statement Nov 10, 2009
By Mrs. G I love this statement! This is by far my favorite poster that I have in my counseling office, and it gets referred to all the time. The poster itself is made out of heavy, durable cardstock, so I know it will be good for years to come (without having to laminate or frame it). Great item!

I bought this poster for my classroom. I like it. It isn't extremely big so it needs to be down lower for people to be able to read it. It is made of a pretty sturdy material (like a thin cardboard). I laminated it just in case and hung in on my classroom wall. Very inspirational for my students.
