My 6 year old girl loves it. She loves to time herself running, riding, spelling, doing a math page. Concept of "how long" time is much clearer.
But ours seems a little flimsy to me. Buttons are sticky. It is also smaller than I thought it would be. I woudn't be suprised if this doesn't last the summer.
If it were for me, I'd give it one star (if any). But because my daughter loves it so much, I'll give it a 3.

It didn't work for me, being for children I would expect it to light up or make noises,I though that being a timer you could set the time needed and at the end you would hear or see a light to indicate your child time was up.

It can be a great tool to chalenge kids to finish work on time or just to teach them the value of time.

I purchased the timers to use in another game {Rumikub} so it isn't used as a toy. One was defective and was replaced no charge by the seller.
