Used? Apr 13, 2010
By CHonn The blocks are nice and seem well made, but I ordered 2 sets and both arrived dirty and scratched. Not sure if they are used or if there is just such little care in the manufacturing process that they get banged up. Construction seems good and the water is pretty, but the quality of wood is not as high as Plan Toys, Haba, or Melissa & Doug.

I have to admit I bought these more for myself than my daughter. Updated version of a classic block. Way cool!

shimmer blocks Aug 26, 2008
By USAF Mom A unique toy. Very pretty and fun to look at. A bit pricey for 8 blocks. My son doesn't care much about the water or glitter inside, he just enjoys stacking them and building with them as if they were normal blocks.

Still great after 2 years Oct 11, 2011
By MS Bought these blocks in 2009 (bought all 3 sets - water, sand and beads) and they are still being enjoyed by my granddaughter (now 3 yrs old). The water filled ones are still clear, not cloudy, and still no leaks which happens with some cheaper sets. Still give them a 5-star rating!

Son loves them Apr 21, 2010
By Ian Really nice variation on blocks. Our <2 yr old son loves finding different ways of stacking and arranging them, and pointing to the different colors. I worry a little bit that a really determined kid could crack open the plastic, but I think it's probably unfounded. Everyone who's been over has been admiring them too. I'm going to pick up a matching set of sand blocks. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the price, under $20 would be more reasonable.
