 Good Goggles for Kids Jan 22, 2012

My twin girls got a science kit for Christmas that only came with one pair of goggles. I ordered this as a second pair so they could do their experiments. They were the same brand as the kit- Learning Resources. My girls are almost 6. The goggles fit them well across the face and could be adjusted to fit their different sized heads. We have not had any fogging issues, yet. The girls have not complained about them being uncomfortable so I assume they are fine. They also make good costume accessories for scuba diving, construction, or other imaginative play. Although not really a "toy", these were perfect for what we needed.

I bought these because my 5 yr old son is going to be a scientist for Halloween. They fit him well, and are something that he'll be able to use to protect his eyes during science experients, etc. I would definitely recommend them.

I bought these goggles for my young children (4 and 6) to use, mostly to get them in the habit of thinking about eye safety when they are around tools. They are comfortable enough so that the kids are willing to wear them and I like the coverage all the way around their eyes. They can be quite warm and possibly foggy on occasion. I have used them in a pinch and don't find them very comfortable myself. They also double as a dress up item- diver, space explorer etc.
