much loved and much played with toy Oct 11, 2009
By some_woman This has to be one of the best gifts my 2 year old got this year for her birthday. Every day she comes downstairs, goes right to her kitchen and serves up pizza for us and for whatever dolls are lying around. Eight pieces on eight plates. She's still young for the fractions. Whereas earlier she was picking up the pizza slices by hand, lately she's been using the pizza cutter and spatula that comes with this kit and carefully picking up the pieces to serve. Lots of fine motor skill and social skill development going on! I love that the plastic is thick and super durable, not the cheapo kind at all. I just got the ice cream kit from Learning Resources and plan to get other food products from them.

Educational,needs a bit of improvement Jun 12, 2010

I ordered this for my 5 yr. old son so he could start learning about fractions. I thought it would be fun for him since he loves pizza...we eat it every Friday night. I just wish the pizza delivery box was sturdier & made out of tougher cardboard & that the pizzas themselves were bigger. I feel this toy is pretty pricey (should cost $5-$10), but that's just my opinion. Other than that, I don't regret ordering this educational toy.
Good option Jan 01, 2012
By Michael A. Omeara This toy does exactly what it says. Its an educational pizza set. We have used it to get a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, and ordered an 1/8 of a slice. If you want to buy a pizza set for your childs kitchen this seems like a good option as it also teaches something at the same time. The plastic is durable. It comes with three pizza pans and cute cardboard delivery box. My children are 5 (who got the fractions) and 3 (who just had fun with it).

My 1 and 3 year old have been playing with it a lot. They are a little young right now to get the fraction part of it but they love to make and serve us a pizza for now.

A GREAT toy for learning and having fun Nov 20, 2008
By Diane M. Sherbert My 2, 3 and 7 year old love this toy. The 2 and 3 year old like to serve pizza to the family and heat it up in the play oven. My 7 year old is learing fractions with the pizza and just loves this toy. We spend many hours having fun and learing. I would recommend this toy for both girls and boys - they will love it - and what kid does not like pizza!!!!
