Really cute, fun, and educational but... Apr 28, 2007

they get mildew in them because water comes in through the hole in their beak! It's annoying that they have that hole in their beaks because they do not squeak. But now all our ducks look greenish and sickly...some more than others. I have soaked them in bleach and that wasn't wholly effective on removing the mildew. I'm not sure what the other reviewer meant by covering their mouths with silicone...how does one do that? My 19 mo. old daughter LOVES them and is always counting, "1, 2, 3...gibberish," when she plays with them and she has fun taking a bath with a big duck family. They couldn't be cuter little ducks, but I'm not sure if they're salvagable.

watch out they are painted not dyed Feb 10, 2007
By ~R~ all non-yellow parts of the ducks are painted and come off pretty easily. a little moisture and some teeth for a minute can remove paint. this toy is best for those who are past placing toys or anything in their mouth. I still think they are cute and a great idea...just need to be made better/safer.

A GREAT LEARNING TOY Jan 17, 2007

THIS IS A GREAT LEARNING TOY FOR KIDS, BUT BEFORE YOU PUT THEM IN WATER USE SOME CLEAR SILICONE AND COVER THE HOLES SO THEY DON'T GET MILDOW IN THEM. MY KIDS LOVE TO PLAY WITH THESE AND I AM BIG ON TOYS THAT HELP THEM LEARN.
Fun for two and six year olds Dec 08, 2010
By Julie Eschliman I bought these for my two year old nephew after he went nuts for the little plastic ducks in a water feature at our local pumpkin patch. He loves holding and playing with these, and his six-year old playmate has a great time helping him learn numbers with them. They both love playing with them in the bath tub, and the six-year old has been known to spend hours of quiet play time lining them up and playing pretend with them. What a great investment! They are durable little toys and just the right size for little hands.
