Best Blocks for Babies! Sep 14, 2006
By NoVa Mom My daughter got these as a gift and they were the absolute best blocks for babies - they are one of the few soft block sets that are completely machine washable! (A must if your baby spits up like mine did!) The colors and noise-makers inside held up perfectly to repeated washings.
While Darling Daughter wasn't terribly keen on tummy time, these soft blocks with their bright designs and engaging noisy makers (soft, parent-friendly sounds) kept her busy. Placing them just out of reach helped her learn to roll over, scoot and eventually crawl. I like to give these as baby shower gifts.

The best blocks for baby. Sep 13, 2007
By stef These blocks have been the favorite toy of my 8month old twin girls since we got them when they were 3 months old. Firm enough to stack, but soft enough for even the smallest babies to grab onto. These really hold their attention. One crinkly block, two that jingle, and one with a squeaker. The squeaker is a little difficult for babies, but they love it when I squeak it. I think every parent needs a set of these!!

lightweight saviors! Oct 02, 2006
By maggiemacy I got these blocks as a gift...I LOVE them! The are soft and easy for my baby to play with and I started to give these blocks to my son when he was 2 months old! I don't worry that he will get hurt on them and he loves the sounds they make. In addition the bright patterns and pictures catch his eye. He is able to easily grasp and shake the blocks. These were by far the best gift I recieved.

Better wash this toy before baby puts in mouth!! Jul 12, 2008
By Stefanie I was dismayed to find that this product reeked of fire retardants which took several washings and sitting outside in the sun for over a week to get rid of. When will makers of baby toys realize that these things go in baby's mouth and the chemicals that they put on them or that are on the fabric that are used to make these things are toxic? Many may not realize that the bromine that is in these fire retardants is toxic to the body and can cause thyroid issues among other problems. Unfortunately, it's in everything from car seats to crib bedding to these simple blocks. From now on I will pay the extra price and go for organic! Paying a little extra now is better than paying an outrageous hospital bill when your child develops an illness due to ingesting chemical after chemical in the toys and elsewhere.

3 out of 4 are fun... May 31, 2008
By DesertKnight Each of these blocks are supposed to make noise--one "crinkles," two have bells, and one has a "squeaker." The squeaker is utterly useless--I can barely get the thing to make noise; my baby has no chance. The manufacturer either needs to come up with a much better squeaker, or just put bells in it. My 6-month-old likes playing with the ones that make noise, but the squeaker gets ignored.
