educatonal insights, friendly and helpful Oct 20, 2007
By Dawn Lairson I am a preschool teacher and use this stamp to put the letter we learn each day on the students hand before they leave, This way they see it for the rest of the day and reinforce what we have learned. They love to smell their hand, and look forward to a new scent each day. I had a few questions about the product and the Educational Insights staff answered my questions in a friendly quick manner. They were so helpful that in the future, when, I need any teaching supplies I will look to their inventory first!

Super cute Nov 03, 2011

My friend gave me a stamp for a present, but unfortunately without a stamp pad. So I've searched several items, and finally chose this one for the unbeatable price as well as the cute option of an apple scent. Though the smell seems a bit grotesque than I expected, the cute apple image and the durable stamp pad is worth the choice. Also shipment was fast. So I decided to purchase other colors for this product.

very faint smell Jul 15, 2011
By careful shopper I got this ink pad for the smell, my child loves the smelly stamp. Though smell is sweet and fun, I can barely smell it and didn't last long. I will not buy this product series again.
Plenty of ink; not much smell; takes rubbing to wash off Feb 22, 2012
By Joseph Boulos PRO: Lots of ink and stamps well
After being disappointed by a Melissa & Doug set we bought that came with dry ink pads, this was a pleasure to buy in that the ink pad was full of ink out of the box. My daughter was able to go on a stamping fest--hands, face, legs of everyone in the house were all conspicuously colored red when I got home.
CON: Little to no smell, or bad smell
This is supposed to be apple scented--not at all. I didn't smell apples, but instead a slight chemically weird smell. It was not obnoxious, but it didn't smell like apples for sure. I'm torn between saying there is no smell and a faint weird not too pleasant smell. It would not stop me from recommending this product however.
PRO/CON: Takes a bit of effort to wash off
Depending on how you view it, you might like or dislike the fact that it takes a little rubbing to get off of skin. I tried a baby wipe and with a good amount of rubbing it still left kid's hands (which took the brunt of the ink) with a slight reddish tint. Soap and water takes care of it though, so this is not a big deal.
Great for younger kids Jan 11, 2011
By Stephanie This is a great stamp pad for kids. My son is almost 3 and is the typical messy boy when it comes to arts and crafts. The ink comes off without any problems and smells absolutely delicious.
