Stetro Grips Suit Their Purpose Aug 23, 2008
By kidsathart
"kidsathart"
I am a homeschooling mom of nine children. For years I have struggled with getting my children to learn to hold their pencils properly. Even though Stetro Grips are not a "fun" toy, they have accomplished their purpose. Yes, my children are finally learning to hold their pencils correctly! And because of them, I am able to start my Kindergartner with holding his pencil correctly, from the start, BEFORE learning bad habits. I plan to have them use their Stetro Grips until holding their pencils the correct way becomes habit, at which point I will bless another homeschooler with them. Thank you to whomever invented Stetro Grips!

By busymom2355 I was Happy Happy Happy with this product. I purchased 1 bag for our home and 2 bags for our school. My girls have a vision problem and the Dr recommends this kind of grip. I will be ordering these for a while as we implement them into the classrooms.

By pheephee I have used this product before to help students learn a correct pencil grip and to help them develop the habit of using their fingers correctly. I have tried several others as well, but this one is the best shape. It is also good quality and hardy -- lasting for months or years.
Wish They Made These for Left Handed Mar 20, 2010
By 20120 The form fits perfectly into your right hand but it's not the same for the left hand.
Perfect pencil gripper Nov 02, 2009
By Laurie S. I bought these for my 6 year old to aid his handwriting. The grip has an arrow on it to show which direction to point it, and it has three surfaces for placing the thumb, pointer, and middle fingers. The grip fits on all his pencils including colored pencils. They tend to slide off the hexagonal yellow pencils, but fit great on all his round pencils. I chose these over the triangle grips, because these make you put each finger in the right spot for a tripod grip. With the triangles, my son wasn't putting his middle finger under the pencil. My 4 year old likes using them too and they help develop proper grip. These are soft rubber, but not squishy. The package arrived within a week.
