Frog Street Sing & Read Shapes CD Nov 22, 2006
By Vanessa Levin

I am a Pre-K teacher and a big fan of Frog Street products. I have been using the Sing & Read Color Songs in my classroom since 2000 and when I heard they released the Shape songs I had to RUN to the store to buy them I was so excited. My students are in love with Cindy Circle, Rudy Rectangle, Trixie Triangle, Olive Oval, Suzie Square and the rest of the crew, they beg to hear the songs again and again. This CD is a MUST have for any early childhood classroom.

By Judy I am very happy with the CD and the songs. I am eager for the CD-Rom so I can print out the books that go with this product. Very preschool!! Super quality.

By bow I was a little disappointed because I thought the books came with the CD, especially since the cover of the CD says, "Sing & Read" with frog Street's Shape Book or Color Books.
I have been surprised at how much my son has learned! Mar 26, 2009
By p31Mom When I first received and listened to this cd I did not have high hopes for it making much of an impact on our son. The tunes seemed simple and nondistinctive, although clever and cute. I have played while during play time while son was playing with toys sort of as background music. To my surprise he has been listening and learning! I have found 8 x 11 flashcards to go with them that can be left whole or cut into quarters and used as puzzles. Now when the cd is playing he finds the right card to go along with the song. He has learned all of his shapes in a subtle fun way. Frog Street Press has their own web sites with other materials that go along with the cd such as books etc. but get kind of expensive. If budget allows I am sure the rest would be helpful too but have found for our audio learner that the cd works surprisingly well!
